The Lamoille Chamber of Commerce’s 30th Annual Membership Meeting, Dinner, and Celebration was held on Tuesday, February 26, 2019, from 5-8 pm at Northern Vermont University in Johnson, Vt.

The keynote address was given by Vermont Attorney General TJ Donovan who talked about Vermonters and small businesses and the challenges they face now and in the future.

Between 150 and 200 of our community’s top business leaders, legislators, and community members use this opportunity each year to review the Chamber’s mission, goals, and achievements; to celebrate one another’s accomplishments and to acknowledge the contribution of the Chamber’s Business Person, Employee, Non-Profit Leader and Volunteer of the Year.

The Chamber presented four deserving community members with awards, based on nominations sent in by other members of Lamoille County. The award winners were:

2018 Business Person of the Year: Greg Tatro of G.W. Tatro Construction

2018 Non-Profit Leader of the Year: Josh Smith of Green Mountain Support Services

2018 Employee of the Year: Rick Aupperlee of Laraway Youth and Family Services
