Eggs and Issues

Check the EVENTS page for a list of the next Eggs & Issues Events.

Eggs and Issues is a relatively new initiative of the Lamoille Region Chamber of Commerce. The purpose is to bring to the attention of its membership, information on important issues and topics relevant to the business community. The programs cover a diversified array of subjects, i.e., the 2015 series offered programs on Safety in the Workplace (OSHA); Proposed Mandated Sick Leave; Morrisville-Stowe Airport (impact on the community); Security in the Workplace; Lt. Governor, Phil Scott; Act 250; Vermont’s 911 Enhanced Board; Social Security Benefits and Addressing Conflict in the Workplace.

Held at a variety of Chamber-member locations, Eggs and Issues begin at 7:45 a.m. and adjourned promptly at 9:00 a.m. Following a presentation by the guest speaker, the floor is opened up for a question and answer period. Unless sponsored, there is a small fee to cover the cost of breakfast. Chamber members, and the public, are encouraged to attend and participate in this informative series.

Detailed information is emailed to Chamber members and friends via Constant Contact and weekly E-mail communications. Information can also be found on the Chamber’s website:
