GROWTH – The Lamoille Region is experiencing exciting and energized growth. It has recently been recognized as the number one growth county within the State of Vermont. Our planners and community leaders are dedicated to preserving and maintaining the history and aesthetics of Vermont. Recently, the Morrisville-Stowe State Airport re-opened after extensive renovations to its runway and its welcoming facility – it is the gateway to the Lamoille Region. With new bike and walking routes, the Village of Morrisville is now an inviting place for pedestrians. In addition, a newly-opened bypass for trucks on Route 100 has reduced the noise and made downtown and excellent place to shop and eat. Many of our towns are experiencing unprecedented growth in agricultural, manufacturing, industrial ventures and cottage businesses to name a few.
