Welcome, Deborah Carroll, new Executive Director

The Board of Directors of Lamoille Region Chamber of Commerce (LRCC) is pleased to announce Deborah Carroll has been named the new Executive Director, effective February 27. Carroll succeeds Max Neal who retired in December after briefly returning to the LRCC to serve as Interim Executive Director. Previously, Neal had served two years as Executive Director at the LRCC.
Carroll brings a wealth of Chamber of Commerce experience and knowledge to her new role. For the last seven years she has served as the Director of Events and Member Relations for the Lewiston Auburn Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce in Maine.
“We are delighted to welcome Deborah to our Chamber,” said Mary L. Collins, Chair of the Board of Directors. “She brings experience, enthusiasm, and a fresh point of view. We are excited to have her join us to continue the good work of the Chamber.”
The Board of Directors conducted an intensive local and national search which generated a dozen applicants. After an extensive interview process with the highly-qualified candidates, the Board stood unanimously behind Carroll.   “Her experience with and knowledge of Chambers of Commerce, and her vision for the future of the Chamber made her the ideal choice to take the LRCC to the next level,’ said Collins.
Raised in Williston, Carroll is delighted to return to Vermont and her nearby roots. She attended Johnson State College, and graduated from the University of Vermont.
In addition to her work at Lewiston Auburn Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce, Carroll has extensive legal experience as litigation paralegal, has worked as a freelance writer and is an avid hiker. Be sure to say hello when you pass her on the trail.
Please join the LRCC Board of Directors and staff in welcoming Carroll to the LRCC and back to her home state of Vermont.

Sincerely,

Mary L. Collins
